This farm is the new Darley horse training facility located outside of Aiken, SC. The intial boundary fence has been installed and the interior fence will be built when the track and barn sites have been started. The outside is a heavy wire fence that is a specialtiy of Dennis Fence. This fence is actually all the fence you would need for your paddocks or farm , but it works just as well as a boundary fence in case of a horse escaping they will have a hard time trying to get through this style of fence. It is very difficult to install, but once this fence is complete it will make a lifetime fence that you will never have to worry about. The top rail of boards is all oak rails and the posts are treated pine 6" faced posts except for the corners and gates. They are a special 9 foot tall 9 inch round post that we use to withstand the pressure of the wire fence pulling on the posts.

This bit of fence is along the back of the farm which no one ever gets to see. Notice how the old growth oak trees were left and the fence can work around them. This was during the blizzard of 2010. The exact thing happened to us when we were working in KS. Seems like every time we are done with the fence and ready to paint, here comes the snow.
This is along the other half of the back property line cutting through the back of the farm wire fence is not really meant to run up and down hills like this. But as you can see it looks just as good as when it is built along a flat open area like the front of the farm.
Here is the front of the horse farm next to Montmorenci rd. As you can see a faced post will give you a much better looking fence line over round posts.
